Our Story
Step into the rich tapestry of Beeyond the Classroom's history, a narrative woven with passion, expertise, and a profound commitment to shaping the educational landscape for elementary students. In response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, the idea of formalizing my tutoring into a business was born. Armed with a bachelor's degree in psychology and education, I embarked on a mission to provide quality tutoring services to students affected by the circumstances of schools being closed. In my professional career, I have worked as a Family Counselor for the Department of Children and Families, and participated in a research program with the University of North Carolina focusing on students for whom English is a second language, I've worked in both public and private schools in the Miami Dade County area, even serving as a school director in a private institution. Drawing from my dual careers, I founded this business with a vision to see each student as a whole individual rather than just a learner. The amalgamation of my experiences led to the creation of a unique teaching method that prioritizes the complete development of each student. Beyond individual tutoring, our offerings include workshops for children and professional training for elementary school educators, all rooted in progressive education and the Reggio Emilia approach.

Jenny has a Bachelor's in Psychology and Education, with a specialization in school readiness for dual language learners, With her role as a teaching tutor and extensive experience in progressive education, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the field. Jenny passionately believes, "Childhood years pass by fast", but we want to make every day special for our children.
